3" brass cap; flush on top of 6" diameter concrete monument rising 4"

Drive westbound on US40 from Albuquerque to exit 149 and continue generally N on Atrisco Vista Boulevard for 4.7miles. Turn right and continue E for about 0.3 miles to the Petroglyph National Monument / Volcanoes day use area. From the NW corner of the parking lot follow a wire fence line N about 0.8 miles to the station on the left.

The station is 3' W of the wire fence, 18" W of a U-post with no additional metal signs and 12" E of a Carsonite post with a SURVEY MARKER decal
