The statue is of Howard (on the left) his brother Ed, and his father E.F. Although Blue Bell Creameries is not owned by the Kruse family, they have operated it as a family business.

E.F. was hired as manager in 1916 and ran the company until his death in 1951. Ed took over the company and ran it until 1986. Howard took over the company reins then and he just retired in 2017. His son Jim has taken the job.

The statue shows E.F. in a business suit holding one side of a clipboard as he consults with his sons. All three men have close cropped hairdos and are wearing glasses. Howard and Ed are both wearing work shirts and pants.
