Classified as Historic Monuments since 1908, this church has a porch bell tower that dates from the 11th century and is the only remaining vestige of an earlier Romanesque building, now extinct.

It took its current form, Gothic style, between the XIIIth and XVIth centuries. The wars of religion did not spare it, since it was almost entirely burned down in 1562.

It was completely restored in the 19th century, when the actual stained-glass windows, especially the large rose window, were installed, which are in fact large painted glass windows.

Some of these stained glass windows tell the local history as it was perceived in the 19th century: Jeanne d'Arc and Saint-Louis, which are traditionally part of the religious imagery of our region, Loire and the vineyards, essential elements of local life in the 19th century. Its bell tower culminates at 105m.
