"Wappenbeschreibung:

"Coat of arms Description:
Splintered by a curved blue tip, in a golden golden crescent, a silver crowned Madonna with Reichsapfel in the right hand, and Christ Child in the left hand, both golden nimburs, in front of silver a continuous red barricade, in the back of gold an upright black Wolfsangel (Doppelhaken ), on the shield's edge a curved, black-grooved silver crenellated stone crown with an open portal. "

Crest Reason:
The red Balkenkreuz points to the former affiliation to Kurtrier. The Wolfsangel is taken over from a coat of arms of a Hillesheimer sex, whose members partly also functioned as apprentices. The Madonna was already depicted in the town hall of 1306 as well as in the barges of the 14th and 15th centuries. The wall crown over the coat of arms symbolizes the township of Hillesheim, which was preserved in the Middle Ages. "
