This bronze statue veteran's memorial is dedicated Army Aviators. It stands at the entrance to the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville AL.
The statue is of an Army aviator in full tactical combat gear, weapon holstered, but in his grip. A plaque on the base of the statue reads as follows:
"Dedicated to the Army Aviator whose gallantry and call to duty inspire them to live their motto "above the best".
