[EN] If the oak is a dominant tree in the forest of Blois, a rare species has crossed the time. Indeed, a single specimen of sessile oak, known as "the twins" has reigned as master for nearly 240 years.
To locate it, take the road to "Molineuf" leaving the roundabout of the "Pinçonnière", advance one kilometer to the first forest road on the right, then walk left for 150 meters. This is a very easy walk.
The tree of 21ft in circumference, 98ft in height, which could have known Napoleon, contemplates the forest, from the height of its majesty.
