The City of Pittsfield Artscape Committee has chosen the artists for the second phase of their paintbox program. The utility boxes were painted July 2017 and were unveiled on July 20, 2017 during the Third Thursday street fair.
Dorothy Martell created this utility box titled "Sunny Sides" in Sotille Park. The utility box is located on the north east part of the pocket park abutting a chain link fence. A yellow sunburst with a smiling face covers the south and west sides of the box. Several tips of the sunburst rays extend to the back of the utility box. The background of the box is painted sky blue.
