One of two replica fighters that stand as memorials to the members of the RCAF who served during World War II.
Hurricane YO-C, Hawker and RAF serial number P3080, was assigned to 401 Squadron, the only Canadian Squadron to see combat during the Battle of Britain. The original aircraft was shot down on 10 September, 1940. The pilot, though wounded, survived.
The Preservation Committee opted to mount a fibreglass replica instead of an original frame due to weather concerns. It was felt that the replica would better be able to withstand the rigours of the seasons.
It was dedicated during a ceremony in 2006, and rededicated in 2016.

Other Information::
Sister to Spitfire AN-A. Until 2005 Lancaster Bomber FM212 also resided here. It has been removed and is undergoing an extensive restoration at the Windsor Airport. A cement curb on the ground represents the outline of the bomber.
