In Canton, along Washington Street, is this building with a dated stone of 1897.

The building is located at the intersection of Washington Street and Chapel Street, on the north west corner.

The stone is located on a wall facing Washington Street, and is near the entrance from that direction. It is on a grey, square stone. It has an emblem of a 7-candle candlestick, and is about 3 ft from the ground.

The building is currently a Jewish memorial chapel. This is not the original use of the building. According to the chapel's web site, the Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel bought this building in the 1970s, which at the time was abandoned. It was previously an Episcopal Church.
Year of construction: 1897
