The sandstone monument located in front of the local grammar school in Cervenka near Litovel (Central Moravia) was made by a sculptor V. Spurný from Litovel. The money were collected from local citizens. The central statuary of this monument depicts a young soldier holding a flag and in front of him is a young girl holding a shield with coat-of-the-arms. At the sides of its pedestal there are 16 photograps and names of the fellow-citizens killed during Word War I (1914-1918). After WW II a small granite plaque was added to the monument with 4 names of the citizens who were killed during Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia and World War II (1938-1945).
