This is a memorial to the four young men who died at sea on 6, April 1930 at Stokkavör.
The plaque reads:

Stefan Johannesson 35 Ára
Skafti Gudmundsson 25 Ára
Gudjon Sigurdsson 25 Ára
Julius Hannesson 19 Ára"
English translation:
"To memories

"Today, just 75 years have elapsed since four young men were killed in a marine accident just outside Keflavik harbor. Stefán Jóhannesson, Skafti Guðmundsson, Guðjón Sigurðsson and Julius Hannesson met their fate at Stokkavör in front of many of its inhabitants who stood on the shore and watched the men disappear into the ocean without being able to do anything."
