This TALL cross is out the front of what had been the Presbyterian Church when built in 1963, becoming a Uniting Church in 1977.

The white painted wooden cross would be at least 6 metres tall. I believe it would have built when the orange brick church was built in 1963. (As it is unlikely that it would have been on the other side of what could have been an off-street parking area for the earlier wooden Presbyterian Church that is now the St Andrews Hall.)

With three Churches in close proximity (Uniting, Anglican, and Roman Catholic) this tall cross would make a good defining point if directing someone from outside the area.

When I was there (1048, Saturday morning, 14 May, 2016) there was a working bee in progress, but the men did not know anything more about the history of the Cross.
