EN: The Fee Vispa arises from the various glaciers south of Saas-Fee. It flows north-east past the village, where it has dug a deep ravine. When it reaches the Saas Valley bottom, it turns north, where it flows a few hundred meters parallel to the Saaser Vispa, and finally merges with it south of Saas-Grund. Its length is around five kilometers.
The Saaser Vispa begins in the south of the Saas Valley. Today, the main inflow is the Mattmark reservoir, which was completed in 1967 and has the highest-lying earth dam in Europe. It flows through the Saas Valley towards the north. After Saas-Balen, it turns a little towards the north-west and sinks into a narrow valley, almost a gorge. In Stalden, the Saaser Vispa joins the Matter Vispa, which comes from Zermatt. From here on the river is called Vispa; it joins the Rhône in Visp. The Saaser Vispa is about 25 kilometers long.
The confluence of the two rivers lies in the south of Saas-Grund. The coordinates are on a bridge that leads to a campsite directly over the confluence.
DE: Die Fee Vispa enspringt den verschiedenen Gletschern südlich von Saas-Fee. Sie fliesst nordöstlich am Dorf vorbei, wo sie eine tiefe Schlucht gegraben hat. In der Ebene des Saastales angekommen wendet sie sich in nördlicher Richtung, wo sie ein paar hundert Meter parallel zur Saaser Vispa fliesst und sich schliesslich südlich von Saas-Grund mit ihr vereinigt. Ihre Länge beträgt um die fünf Kilometer.
Die Saaser Vispa beginnt im Süden des Saastales. Sein heutiger Hauptzufluss ist der Stausee Mattmark, der 1967 fertig gestellt wurde und den höchstegelegene Erddamm Europas hat. Sie fliesst durch das Saastal gegen Norden. Nach Saas-Balen dreht sie ein wenig gegen Nordwesten und sinkt in ein enges, fast schluchtartiges Tal. Bei Stalden vereinigt sich die Saaser Vispa mit der Matter Vispa, die von Zermatt her kommt. Von hier an wird der Fluss Vispa genannt; er fliesst bei Visp in die Rhône. Die Saaser Vispa ist rund 25 Kilometer lang.
Der Zusammenfluss der beiden Flüsse liegt im Süden von Saas-Grund. Die Koordinaten sind auf einer Brücke, die direkt über dem Zusammenfluss zu einem Campingplatz führt.
