The Anglican Church in Canada has been active in Farnham since the 1840's. The original church was built on this site in 1845.
It was eventually moved to nearby Arkell in 1902, and renamed Church of St Michael and All Angels. It remained in service until 1942 and was demolished in 1945.
The bronze marker is attached to an interior brick and mortar corner area resting on flagstones, symbolic of the church's foundation and walls.
