Aged 24.
Private Charles L. Robinson enlisted into the Union Army on August 9, 1862 and was mustered in on August 24, 1862. He was captured at Plymouth, NC on April 20, 1864 and paroled on December 16, 1864. He was aboard the Steamer Massachusetts and drowned when the steamer collided with the Picket Boat Black Diamond in the Potomac River on April 24, 1865.
