This Harris County Control District benchmark reference disc is embedded in the concrete sidewalk on the South side of a bridge crossing a small stream flowing into the White Oak Bayou watershed on Rodney Ray Blvd, just .8mi East of Beltway 8. The benchmark is approximately equidistant from the bridge and road edges, and equidistant from either end of the bridge span. It is situated on top of the deepest end of the stream at the bridge intersection.

Unlike similar flood control district benchmarks throughout Harris County, this particular reference mark could not be located on their online database: Harris County Floodplain Reference Marks... However its "125" stamping stands for Stream Number "E125-00-00", and this is likely BM number 02 on that stream. The closest Reference Mark which *is* in the database is located 430 yards further SSE of this one: RM 050415. It is likely that this particular BM is new and hasn't been recorded in their online database as yet.
