Built on a circular mound, it was probably a parish church until the 16th century (date of the construction of the village church). In bad condition at the beginning of the 19th century, it was restored after the miracle of 1838 for pilgrimages. A restoration that reduced the Romanesque building of a Latin cross 22.40 meters by 14.50 meters, both arms of the transept, not to mention part of the nave and the facade. Inscribed in the inventory of historical monuments, there remains of this church only one span covered by a barrel vault. On the left of the facade and on the back of the building still remain the ruins of one of the old side chapels. Finally, the presence of the tomb of A. Mauduis, hero of the resistance and companion of President Mitterand in front of the main facade. Ref: Shiren GC.
