This is a beautiful example of WPA Art Deco style construction, still in use today.

Krebs City Hall located at 5 NE Washington is a one-story building constructed of rusticated and coursed native sand stone, built by the WPA in 1939. The roof is flat, with a high parapet on the front half. The building is rectangular (112 x 44 ft.) and has a projecting entrance vestibule at the front.
The entrance doors are metal and glazed with a fixed transom. The corners of the entrance bay, as well as the building itself have stone pilasters. The single casement windows have been replaced with fixed panes.
The building has a bronze WPA shield affixed to it, and the cornerstone reads: "Krebs City Hall / 1939 / Incorporated Oct. 3, 1903".
