Clovek si vzpomene na již okrídlenou vetu, kde udelali soudruzi z jedné kdysi sprátelené zeme chybu. Pokud si vygooglíme název Lípa republiky na Pohansku, dozvíme se, že 28. ríjna 2008 s velkou slávou skupina nadšených milovníku (nejen) vojenské historie vysadila „památnou“ lípu k 90. výrocí vzniku samostatné CSR. Podle všeho se lípa vcelku úspešne ujala, pri naší návšteve v roce 2012 lípa prokazatelne sílila. Prišly ale horší casy a o dva roky pozdeji (na podzim 2014) zbyl z nadejného stromku malý pahýl. Jakže skoncila chválihodná snaha nadšencu težko ríci, bežné informace o zkáze stromu nejsou dostupnejší. Nicméne za dva roky se priblíží sté výrocí vzniku. Uvidíme.
Každopádne bylo by lepší stromy za památné oznacovat až po nejakých 100 a více letech, ne sotva se vysadí.
Prozatím musí stacit jako náhrada stromu jedno z umeleckých del, které krášlí okolí výletního zámecku. Strom vetrné harfy autora Lubo Kristka, která je v sousedství „památného“ stromu. Dílo má evokovat vzpomínku na dávné obyvatele Pohanska. Kovové slzy na táhlech mají pri závanech vetru rozechvívat struny pod nimi, poutník se má zastavit, zaposlouchal se do tónu prírody a splynul s ní. Dílo je znacne sureálné, jako celá tvorba umelce narozeného v Brne 1943. V letech 1968–1990 žil v Nemecku, po návratu do vlasti se usadil v Podhradí nad Dyjí. Zmínené dílo je soucástí Kristkovi podyjské glyptotéky. Umelcova díla tak mužeme sledovat od pramene Moravské Dyje až po soutok s Moravou.

In the meantime, one of the works of art that will beautify the surrounding manor house must be enough to replace the tree. Wind harp tree author Lubo Kristka, which is in the neighborhood of a "memorable" tree. The work is to evoke the memory of the ancient inhabitants of Pohanska. The metal tears on the drawers, when the wind blows, shake the strings under them, the wanderer should stop, listen to the tones of nature, and merge with it. The work is quite sure, like the whole work of an artist born in Brno in 1943. In 1968-1990 he lived in Germany, after returning to his homeland he settled in Podhradí nad Dyjí. The work is part of Christ Podyjski glyptotheque. The artist's works can be seen from the source of the Moravian Dyje to the confluence with Moravia.
