The cross is a reminiscent of a popular mission from the year 1910. Whoever carried it out is, as usual, not stated.
The cross is made of wood and about four meters high. The inscriptions are all affixed with individual metal letters and have linguistic peculiarities like a twisted "N". The inscription is: "DH / Mission Kreüz (sic) / [k? d? p?]eine Tod Sünde / 1910".
DE: Das Missionskreuz steht bei der Wallfahrtskapelle zur Hohen Stiege am Kapellenweg unterhalb von Saas-Fee.
Das Kreuz erinnert an eine Volksmission aus dem Jahr 1910. Wer diese durchgefüht hat, ist, wie üblich, nicht angegeben.
Das Kreuz ist aus Holz und rund vier Meter hoch. Die Beschriftungen sind alle mit einzelnen Metall-Lettern angebracht und haben sprachliche Besonderheiten, wie ein verdrehtes "N". Die Beschriftung ist: "DH / Mission Kreüz (sic) / [k?d?p?]eine Tod Sünde / 1910".
