The Federation Academic Classical style warehouse was constructed in 1900 for D & J Fowler and Co. the building has two floors and a basement , delivery vehicles entered through the arched doors which had a laneway running through to Pakenham St.
The brick building has a stucco frontage and decorative scroll work above the arched entrance door and the laneway door.
The Notre Dame University now use the building for the School of Medicine and the Galvin Library
