While it is possible to make out the unusual 'build' of the bike rack when bikes are parked with it, it was much easier to differentiate the style, when it was empty.
There is a nice attachment, that allows the rider to place their items on, that they may want to take with them into the Gallery/Museum (rather than having to place it on the ground while they lock up.)
[Or it may be used as a hitching post, and allows a 'leg up' for shorter, less athletic riders.]
When I came back about an hour later some cycling tourers had removed their bikes, so I could get photos of the rack 'in action.
