St. Alexander was built in 1495 and dedicated to St. Alexander who was a martyr and Bishop of Rome 107-116. There was at least one other church on the site before this was built since there was reference in the records to the Freiherrs of Gemmingen (local royalty) being allowed to dispose of the church in 1460 and 1470. There is a small graveyard attached with a few older gravestones.
