Originally built in 1854, this railroad depot was the first constructed by the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. The depot had additions added in 1868. The depot had remained vacant for many years, when in 1973 it was moved and renovated. The depot was restored to match the historic exterior appearance.
