The Tongariro River Trail is a scenic looped ride/walk along both sides of the Tongariro River in Turangi, crossing the river on swingbridges. It has some awesome native bush and cool views into the clear waters of the Tongariro River. You will spot fishermen angling for the world famous Rainbow trout in the many pools along the route.
