The above coordinates are for the plaque on the eastern (northern) end of the bridge, being easier to access it from the Orbost end. This is close to the 'Ox-bow Lagoon', with the other plaque closer to the Snowy River.

The plaque on the northern side (NE end) of the bridge reads:
[CRB logo]
"Snowy River Bridge
Opened by
The Hon. J. A. Rafferty B.A., F.A.I.M., M.P.
Minister of Transport
25 November 1976"

While on the southern side - directly opposite is the usual, simpler plaque of:
"Country Roads
Board
1976"
* An identical one is on the western side of the southwestern end of the bridge, at S37° 42.980' E148° 27.203' * That one also having the small metal plaque of: S/N 2956. It is quite close to a geocache.

The Snowy River Bridge is a two-lane, reinforced concrete, cast insitu bridge with box concrete girders supporting the various spans on concrete pylons.

Access: for the northern plaque, park in the park, and walk up to the pedestrian footpath of the bridge.
For the southwestern one, park near the geocache, and walk up the grassy embankment to the path.
