From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles to the intersection with Green Ridge Road. Turn right, then bear right onto Indian Ford Road, FR1102. Continue 4.0 miles and turn left onto FR2050. Proceed about 3.3 miles, then continue on FR2055 about 2.6 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 8" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner bears S, about 1700' from the centerline of FR2055. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post which bears N, 30" distant. Found four standing ponderosa pines with the usual complement of metal signs.
What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land E from the corner, else private property
