Diese etwa 3,5 m hohe Uhr steht vor der Buchhandlung Otto und Sohn. Werbung gibt es in den dafür vorgesehenen Sichtfenstern schon lange nicht mehr. Immerhin geht die Uhr noch.
Die Uhr ist am oberen Ende eines Pfahls. Sie ist würfelförmig und hat zu vier Seiten ein Fenster mit einem Zifferblatt. Der Pfahl und der Kasten sind grün. Die Zifferblätter sind schlicht, ohne Zahlen und weiß, es gibt nur Striche für die Stunden. Die Uhr hat einen dicken, kurzen Stunden-Zeiger und einen langen dünneren Minutenzeiger, die beide auch gerade und schlicht gehalten sind.
This 11,5 ft. tall clock is located in front of the bookstore Otto und Sohn. Advertising in the clock´s viewing window does not exist since a long time. Despite that the clock works.
The clock is a cube shaped box on top of a stand. The stand and the box-frame are green. There are four windows with a face to each side. The faces themselves are simple and artless white only with lines for the hours, no numbers. The the hands are simple and straight too, one short and strong for the hours, the other long and thin for the minutes.
