From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060. Continue about 4.1 miles to the intersection with FR1014 at Fivemile Butte. Continue generally S then SE on FR1014 for about 1.5 mile to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 5" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner bears S, up a steep slope, about 440' from the centerline of FR1014. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal on an orange Carsonite post which bears ESE, 38" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
