This Monument, consisting of a statue of a Civil War soldier, in Forest Hill Cemetery, Ann Arbor. It was originally placed in 1914 on the lawn of the old Washtenaw County Courthouse in Ann Arbor, but was moved to the Forest Hill Cemetery when the present Courthouse was built. The inscription reads:
In memory of the soldiers and sailors of Washtenaw County who served in the Civil War, 1861-1865, also those who served in the war with Spain, 1898. Erected A. D. 1914
