I would think that the
original plaque is the grey marble plaque, being the lowest, on the north side, which reads:
"In Memory of
Our Fallen Comrades

[Probably added later]
The other six plaques on the northern side seem to be of 'the same vintage' and design. From the top left, going down, the plaques commemorate: Boer War, First World War, Second World War; Malayan Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation, Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
The top left plaque reads:

'Meanwhile', on the southern side of the Memorial Clock Tower, below the clock face, is a bronze Australian Army 'Rising Sun' crest; with three brass or bronze plaques.
The top, larger one, reads:
IN MEMORY
OF THE FALLEN
LEST WE FORGET
The middle one (almost 'square') reads:
[Australia Remembers: 1945-1995 logo]
