LITHGOW. Thursday.
A blast furnace worker, Harry Scougall, aged 18, was drowned while bathing in Lake Pillans during the lunch hour yesterday. An attempt at rescue was made by a companion named Adams, but he was not successful. The body was recovered about three hours later.
