This fountain is fed by a spring that once supplied water to the abbey of Lagny founded by Saint Fursy.
The fountain would go back to the 13th century. It is decorated with several sculpted figures more or less well preserved.
The square in the center of which it is located is invaded three times a week by a very active market.
Very pretty fountain where one is surprised by the limpidity of the water and the charm released by the atmosphere of the city center around.

Cette fontaine est alimentée par une source qui fournissait jadis l'eau à l'abbaye de Lagny fondée par Saint Fursy.
La fontaine remonterait au 13e siècle. Elle est ornée de plusieurs figures sculptées plus ou moins bien conservées.
La place au centre de laquelle elle se trouve est envahie trois fois par semaine par un marché très actif.
Très jolie fontaine où l'on est surpris par la limpidité de l'eau et le charme dégagé par l'ambiance du centre ville alentour.
