The clock is double-sided. The support is made of iron. The frame is black.
The black needles are spearheaded. An orange and black harp on a brown background sits in the center, the black calligraphic figures stand out against a white background. The minutes represented by a black dot are on the outer crown, itself framed by a white frieze on a purple background.
In line with the Irish pubs of Old Lyon, the James Joyce is one of the quietest, but can also be the most authentic. Named after the famous writer who wrote "Ulysses", its decoration also pays tribute to it and typically recalls the traditional pubs of Dublin, with its woodwork, stained glass windows and dartboard.
L'horloge est à double face. Le support est en fer. L'encadrement est noir.
Les aiguilles noires sont en fer de lance. Une harpe orange et noire sur fond brun trône au centre, les chiffres calligraphiés noirs ressortent sur un fond blanc. Les minutes représentées par un point noir sont sur la couronne extérieur, elle même encadrée par une frise blanche sur fond violet.
Dans la lignée des pubs irlandais du Vieux Lyon, le James Joyce fait partie des plus calmes, mais peut être aussi des plus authentiques. Nommé d’après le célèbre écrivain qui écrivit « Ulysse », sa décoration lui rend également hommage et rappelle typiquement les pubs traditionnels de Dublin, avec ses boiseries, ses vitraux, et sa cible de fléchettes.
