Deutsches Mineralienmuseum website (visit link) reads: "An old working agate loop with waterwheel"

On one of my photos it can be seen,on the wood near the axis of the wheel, that it is dated "2006"

The size is about 2,5m and is driven by a water source from the mountains.

In Idar-Oberstein earlier water wheels were used to polish gems.
