This Tallowood is about 15 metres up from the Coramba Road, but there is no established track, just a 'dirt climb'.

I guess, being at ~705 metres elevation makes this tree a little hardier than the average Australian tree.

The wooden signage states:
"Jack Feeney Memorial
TALLOWOOD
Eucalyptus microcorys
Height to First Branch: 28.0 metres / 92 Feet
Height: 56.5 metres / 185 Feet
Diameter at Breast Height: 3.14 metres
Approximate Log Volume: 88.0 m³ / 37,294 Super Feet"

Tallowood is one of the species of eucalypts whose leaves are used as food by koalas. [Wiki]

Access: while the tree is quite visible from the dirt Coramba Road as it is only 20 metres away, it is NOT an easy climb up the dirt bank, and could be rated Terrain: 3. There is not much space to pull over, so no trailers or caravans please. Should be okay getting there in most two-wheel drives, but if it has lowered suspension, or low-profile tyres you will want to be extra careful.
