Der "Narrenbrunnen" zeigt Figuren der "Narrenzunft Lindau". Er befindet sich auf dem Schrannenplatz in Lindau am Bodensee und wurde 1989 zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum der "Narrenzunft Lindau" eingeweiht. Er zeigt die Narrenfiguren Binsengeist, Kornköffler, Moschtkopf und Pflasterbutz.
Geschaffen wurde der Lindauer Narrenbrunnen, vom Bildhauer Michael Veit aus Lindau.
Damals wurde auch ein Brunnen-Wächter eingeführt. Zu dessen Aufgaben gehört unter anderem die Reinhaltung des Brunnens. Dafür bekommt der Brunnen-Wächter als Lohn eine Brotzeit und Krug Bier oder Wein überreicht zum Anfang jeden Jahres.

The "Narrenbrunnen" shows figures of the "Narrenzunft Lindau". It is located on the Schrannenplatz in Lindau on Lake Constance. It was inaugurated in 1989 to mark the 25th anniversary of the "Narrenzunft Lindau". He shows the fool-figures Binsengeist, Kornköffler, Moschtkopf and Pflasterbutz.
The Lindau Fountain was created by the sculptor Michael Veit from Lindau.
At that time, a well guard was also introduced. Its tasks include the maintenance of the well. For this, the well-keeper receives as a reward a bread-time and jug of beer or wine passes to the beginning of each year.
