Located in Brooks Park and near the Veterans Memorial Bridge are a few memorials dedicated to local war veterans as well as a police memorial that is comprised of granite that makes up a memorial walkway containing dedicated brick pavers with the names of veterans and civilians engraved on each.

The granite memorial reads:

BEND FIRST RESPONDERS MEMORIAL

Honoring the citizens of Bend who serve our community and
those who have lost their lives in the line of duty or in the
pursuit of helping others.
