Located in Brooks Park and next to the Veterans Memorial Bridge is a memorial walkway comprised of brick pavers. The walkway contains a granite memorial with an inscription that reads:

LCPL RANDY LEE NEWMAN, U.S.M.C.
MEMORIAL WALKWAY

Dedicated to a
Strong and Valient Warrior
Judges 6:12
Killed in Action Rawah, Iraq
Operation Iraqi Freedom

There are two other memorials here, a multi-war memorial and a police memorial that comprise a very serene setting among colorful flowers, the nearby Deschutes River and a well-manicured Brooks Park.
