This Victorian wall box, by Eagle Range & Foundry Co., can be found in the Fife town of Newport-On-Tay, on the south shore of the Firth of Tay opposite the city of Dundee and in sight of the Tay Road Bridge.

The box is still in good condition with the VR insignia at the top with a crown splitting the letters.

Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
Tay Street is the B946 road and the main route through the town along the shore from the Tay Road Bridge which is only a third of a mile away to the north-west. The area is still suburban at this point with the centre of town a few hundred yards down the street. The box is situated just before a slight bend in the road with the opposite side open to the shoreline below.
