Standing roughly 40' tall, the Maranatha Clock Tower serves as a centerpiece of the John Brown University campus. A plaque at the base of the tower reads as follows:
--------------------------------
Maranatha Clock Tower
Given By
Dr. John I. and Joallen Logan Moose, '90
To the Glory of God
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
As the hours and minutes pass,
we say, "Maranatha"!
"Come, O Lord."
1 Cor. 16:22, Rev. 22:20
2002
------------------------------
The clock itself resides at roughly the 25' level of the tower. It is an analog clock, about 5' in diameter. There is an identical clock on all four sides of the tower, any one of which can be easily seen from any point on this small campus. The face of the clocks are white, with black markings. In the place of numerals around the clocks, simple markings can be found.
