The business has existed since 1978 and sells musical instruments for various target groups, from folk music over rock to classical music.
But a special feature of the business are the "Natwärrischpfiife". The store is one of the most important producers of these traditional Valais musical instruments. A Natwärrischpfiife is a special type of a fife, an old form of the flute made of wood and without mechanical parts. The history of the instrument is hardly documented. It comes from the military music of the late Middle Ages, it is played together with drums, and today this special type exists almost exclusively in the Valais. But here it is still very popular, even today there are 38 music corps in the Valais that play this instrument.

Das Geschäft existiert seit 1978 und verkauft Musikinstrumente für die verschiedensten Zielgruppen, von Volksmusik, über Rock bis Klassik.
Eine Besonderheit des Geschäfts sind aber die Natwärrischpfiife. Das Geschäft ist einer der wichtigsten Hersteller dieser traditionellen Walliser Musikinstrumente. Eine Natwärrischpfiife ist eine alte Form der Querflöte aus Holz und ohne mechanischen Teile. Die Geschichte des Instruments ist kaum dokumentiert. Sie stammt aus der Militärmusik des späten Mittelalters, wird zusammen mit Trommel gespielt und kommt heute in dieser speziellen Form fast nur noch im Wallis vor. Aber hier ist sie noch sehr beliebt, auch heute noch gibt es im Wallis 38 Musikformationen, die dieses Instrument spielen.
