As I was routed by my GPSr from Uralla, to the Bendemeer Public Cemetery, I was brought down to this Bridgeless Water Crossing for the MacDonald River.
** As mentioned, CAUTION is required here ! **
While the countryside was still rather dry and brown, the river was flowing rather fast, and the bottom was not that smooth (against what I expected).
I was driving a Nissan Dualis, which has a decent clearance, and I believe that the water was touching the bottom of the chassis most of the way over. The river buffeted the car, and I was rather concerned that I was NOT doing a safe thing by being 'adventurous'.
