South Bowenfels Cemetery appears to have been established shortly after the Presbyterian Church, across the road, was built in 1842. The local council have cleared the grounds of invasive weeds & it is now well maintained. The headstones range from clear to difficult to read. Older sandstone headstones are nearly always difficult to decipher.
There is no sign so if you intend to visit just slow down & pull over to the verge & you'll see a road & grounds to park.
