"Caspar Clemens Pickel (* 8. April 1847 in Kottenheim bei Mayen; † 7. November 1939 in Düsseldorf) war ein deutscher Architekt, der vor allem auf dem Gebiet des katholischen Kirchenbaus in Westdeutschland tätig war.

Caspar Clemens Pickel kam 1847 als Sohn des Basaltgrubenbesitzers und Gemeindevorstehers Caspar Pickel und dessen Ehefrau Catharine geb. Doll in Kottenheim zur Welt. Er besuchte 1861–1864 die Provinzialgewerbeschule in Koblenz und studierte ab 1865 an der Berliner Bauakademie. 1867 fand er eine Anstellung als Mitarbeiter im Büro des Architekten August Rincklake in Düsseldorf. Von 1870 bis 1876 arbeitete und lebte Pickel in Essen, wo er die Ausführung mehrerer Bauten von Rincklake betreute. 1876 übernahm Pickel das Düsseldorfer Büro von Rincklake, der nach Braunschweig ging, und führte es erfolgreich fort.
Pickel wurde von seiner Heimatgemeinde Kottenheim mit der Ehrenbürgerwürde ausgezeichnet, er trug den Ehrentitel (königlich preußischer) Baurat und besaß den preußischen Roten Adlerorden 4. Klasse sowie den päpstlichen Silvesterorden. Er war Mitglied im Düsseldorfer Künstlerverein „Malkasten“ und im Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA)."

"Caspar Clemens Pickel (born April 8, 1847 in Kottenheim near Mayen, Germany) was a German architect who worked mainly in the field of Catholic church construction in West Germany.

Caspar Clemens Pickel was born in 1847 as the son of the basalt pit owner and head of the village Caspar Pickel and his wife Catharine b. Doll in Kottenheim is founded. He visited the provincial vocational school in Koblenz in 1861-1864 and studied at the Bauakademie in Berlin from 1865 onwards. In 1867 he found a position as an employee in the office of architect August Rincklake in Düsseldorf. From 1870 to 1876 Pickel worked and lived in Essen, where he supervised the execution of several buildings by Rincklake. In 1876, Pickel took over the Düsseldorf office of Rincklake, who went to Braunschweig, and successfully continued it.
Pickel was honored with honorary citizenship by his hometown of Kottenheim, he bore the title of the Royal Prussian building, and owned the Prussian Red Eagle Oratory 4th Class as well as the papal New Year's Eve orders. He was a member of the Düsseldorfer Künstlerverein "Malkasten" and the Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA). "
