Wikipedia reads:
The Burgruine is about 52 meters long, up to 20 meters wide and has the shape of a wedge. The steep, 24-meter-high round three-storey Bergfried stands in the south-west part of the tapered part of the castle. It has a diameter of 10.5 meters with a wall thickness of up to 3.2 meters.
On the opposite side rise the rather scanty towering remains of the main building. It had at least three floors, which had been opened by a staircase. The kitchen was on the ground floor (readable on the remains of the kitchens on the east side). The water supply was ensured by a well (this was next to the access of the castle).
The castle is surrounded by a ring wall at the sides of the fortress. The wall is perforated by slits and originally carried a weir. The yard was fitted with smaller buildings, the remains of which were exposed during the excavation work.
