This massive relief sculpture, carved out of Georgia marble in 1894, stands near the tall Confederate monument obelisk in Atlanta's Oakland Cemetery. It is a copy of the "Lion of Lucerne", except with a Confederate Stars and Bars battle flag instead of a Roman shield and spear.
