[DE] Über einer der Doppeltüren an der Kongresshalle in Leipzig befindet sich dieses halbkreisförmige Löwen-Relief.
Abgebildet ist ein auf der Lauer liegender Löwe mit riesiger Mähne. Durch die hochgezogenen Augenbrauen wirkt sein Blick sehr grimmig. Unterhalb seiner Nase befinden sich seine Schnurrhaare und die beiden Vordertatzen sind links und rechts von seinem Kopf zu erkennen. Er hat seine Krallen ausgefahren.
Der Löwe gesellt sich somit zu dem im Eingangsbereich des Zoos vorhandenen Löwen unweit von dieser Stelle.

The picture shows a lion with a huge mane. Through the raised eyebrows, his eyes look very grim. Below his nose are his whiskers and the two front paws are visible to the left and right of his head. He pulled out his claws.
