Bruthen War Memorial
"Bruthen War Memorial is a tall multi-tiered bluestone memorial topped by a column and lamp globe. The inscriptions on marble tablets on all sides commemorate those who served and who died in World Wars One [and Two]."
A white marble plaque on the base reads:
"Erected By The Residents
Of Bruthen And District
To The Honor Of The Living
And The Everlasting Glory
Of The Dead Who Fought In The
1914 Great War 1919
[To which has subsequently been added]
1939 - World War II – 1945.
On the base of the Memorial are three rectangular white marble plaques, and they respectively read:
