In Peoria, within Lakeview Park, is the Lakeview Branch of the Peoria Public Library system.

The library is located near the Noble Center, which is the administrative building for the Peoria park system. The entrance is from W. Lake Street and is near the intersection with N. University Avenue.

The library is in a modern squarish building with likely concrete scored like brick. The entrance is from the east side. There is a 3D sculpture of two owls and a book, and the words, "Peoria Public Library."

I could not find any specific info on the web site about internet access. What I did notice is that you can, through the library, download ebooks, music, maps, and many other data through online services.

I couldn't find when this branch was established. The public library was started in 1880, but there were libraries prior to the founding of this library.
